An immersive listening session to ‘prepare the ears’ for the day.

In collaboration with Semi Silent, sound artist Ana Teodora Popa guides participants through a series of immersive listening and physical resonances.
Lying down, with eyes closed or motion, Ana Teodora Popa and Semi Silent use sound to manipulate perception and evoke emotions.

SEMI SILENT is an organization from Bucharest dedicated to the production, promotion, and education in the fields of sound art and radio art. Created in 2016, Semi Silent produced, co-produced, and hosted over 80 sound works by Romanian and international artists, and in 2018 generated the sound art residencies program SONIC FUTURE RESIDENCIES (5 editions). The SEMI SILENT radio art productions were selected, nominated, or awarded at international competitions such as Phonurgia Nova (FR), Grand Prix Nova (RO), or UK Radio Drama Festival, and presented at Radiophrenia (UK), Longueur d’ondes (FR), Rien à voir (FR), Lucia Festival (IT), Art’s Birthday by EBU, Radiocustica by Český rozhlas Vltava (CZ) etc.
Complementary to the production activities and the residencies programs, SEMI SILENT is developing a variety of educational formats for initiation and advanced studies in sound art, radio art and field recording.
