Sonic Digestif: Humor In The Dark
An exploration of humorous audiostorytelling.
Stand up comedy… stand up sound?
Talia Augustidis, will be presenting a selection of short audio pieces from various creators that address big issues, get to the heart of big ideas, and generally loom larger than their short run-time, all in the key of humor.
The event is an ode to humor in sound from exciting independent audio-makers.
In collaboration with In The Dark Radio
Talia Augustidis is a regular contributor to BBC Radio 4’s Short Cuts, she won Best Documentary Short at the Third Coast Awards and, at 5”2, she identifies as short and humorous, so she is more than qualified to host this event.
All the LUCIA festival events are free entry.
The festival venue is accessible to people with reduced mobility and wheelchair users.
