Out of the Dream Woods

We recommend that you bring a pillow and comfortable clothes.

What do our dreams sound like?
What if it were possible to bring the sounds of dreams back into our waking life?

Maria Pecchioli transforms the transition between sleep and wakefulness into a sensory awakening, a way of embracing the sound of our breath and the energies that flow through it.

Immerse yourself with us in a true gymnastics for the ears: sensory stretches accompanied by the resonances of Gong and Harmonium to come out of the Dream Woods and the practice of healing sounds to awaken the voice of dreams.

Maria Pecchioli is an artist and producer of cross-media platforms, performer and filmmaker attentive to processes of individual and collective transformation. Creator and curator of the artistic residency and summer school Corniolo Art Platform (since 2011); co-founder of the artistic-curatorial duo Radical Intention (2009); co-founder of the collective Fosca (2006). In 2020 she won the OPEN /// CONTEMPORARY [URBAN] CREATION Award promoted by Pergine Festival for interdisciplinary creations that manage to reinvent/imagine/explore public space. Her film Cherokee Street – The Mutual Conquest received a Special Jury Mention at the 2019 Combat Prize. In 2014 her documentary film Lei disse sì, which she directed, won the Biografilm Festival. Screened at national and international festivals and in cinemas, Lei disse sì has become one of the most relevant cross-media projects on civil rights in Italy.
