Sleep Talks

Italian premiere in the presence of the author.

Sleep Talks is a story about dreams and love and ethics. When Talia’s boyfriend Eddie gets drunk, he sleep talks. For years, Talia records him and prods him and asks him questions, trying desperately to climb into his mind and explore. But it’s not that easy.

Talia Augustidis is an audio producer and artist based in London. She recently won Gold at the Charles Parker Award for her piece The Sound Collector. Sleep Talks is premiering at The Lucia Festival, and will feature in her upcoming podcast UnReality, made up of stories that blend real life and imagination. She has been collecting an invaluable reader for those involved in audio production: her Helpful Resources for Emerging Radio/Audio Producers is a shared document. Check it out and if you know of resources not listed, write to Talia!
